The Occasional Care Association of NSW/National INC (OCCA) was first established in 1942. Since its inception OCCA has evolved greatly and continues to raise the profile of the occasional child care sector throughout Australia. OCCA represents all occasional care services across NSW and Australia and actively lobbies with BOTH State and Federal Governments with issues which are relevant to the Sector.
OCCA is a voluntary not for profit charitable organisation with the Management committee all working in occasional childcare services.
One of the many roles of the OCCA is to disseminate information by providing support and also professional training to all its members hence this is why OCCA’S annual conference is organised. The conference is a great way for all occasional care services to unite, be empowered and be educated through a vast and interesting array of workshops provided by experts in the Early Childhood Professionals.
The 2008 conference is offering our services’ Management Committee their very own workshops, for the purpose of the committee to gain valuable insights to the operations of Occasional care.
